The Geshrinari Shipyards Atmospheric Containment Shield (ACS) is a recent addition that can be added to existing and new vessels. It became available in YE 35.

It is the latest safety system that the company has implemented. It allows areas protected by one to maintain atmosphere in a section even if the hull has been broached.

The ACS can two modes of operation. Permeable and non-permeable.

Permeable physical objects can pass through the field with little effort. Typically a slight hissing sound will be heard as the object moves through.

At this level solid objects will not pass through the barrier. This is useful to prevent debris or animals from passing through the shield.
