Build and Skin Color: Josva has an average build although his shoulders are a little broader than average. His skin colour is that of a white male.

Eyes and Facial Features: Josva's face is an oval shape with thin, almond eyes that are grey although sometimes they appear to look blue.

Hair Color and Style: Josva's hair is a short, corporate style haircut that he combs and maintains constantly in an effort to appear professional. His hair is a shade of dark brown but due to the product in his hair, it may often appear black.

Distinguishing Features: Josva has a scar on his right shin from his childhood when he cut himself jumping over a wall, the cut was deep but was never stitched resulting in a large scar. He also has scar in front of his left ear from a childhood surgery. Josva's most defining characteristic however, is his tattoo, due to the fact he is human he can have tattoos and he has a large Nordic styled tattoo across his shoulders , this tattoo is a large back piece depicting a tree with many knots in it, the top of the tree spreads out across his shoulders while the roots end at the base of his back.

Personality: Skirnir Josva is a very headstrong kind of man, he feels as though, because he remains in a human body he has to prove himself to his comrades. This inferiority complex drives him to go out of his way to show his worth. He does this through impulsive actions and and a staunch determination to achieve anything he sets his mind to. This reckless attitude can often rub people the wrong way, making them think he may have an authority problem which in turn makes them wary of him. This makes it difficult for Josva to make friends.

He feels most at home when in a Hayabusa Starfighter, and to some degree softens up when in one. He demonstrates a playful and cocky side that can often be seen when in recreational time. His love of his Starfighter is often coupled with a defensiveness when his skills as a pilot are questioned. this along with his inferiority complex can lead to him getting in a lot of fights.

Despite his abrasive nature he is extremely loyal to his allies and when somebody takes the time to get to know him they find that he can be a very playful and friendly individual that will do almost anything to protect those close to him. Having people close to him also allows him to confide in them about his insecurities instead lashing out although sometimes he struggles to do this.

Josva was born to loving parents on a small planet under the rule of the Yamatai Star Empire. Growing up seemed relatively normal in Josva's eyes, he would go to school, play with friends and play on local sport teams. He spent a lot of time growing up playing sports; joining several teams and becoming captain of his hometown Rugby team.

He preferred to spend his time playing sport as he was not a fan of his home life. Although his parent's loved him they were seen as radicals and were part of a small human “purist” organization that were against the use of Minkan bodies despite the great plague they encountered in their youth. Josva did not understand the stance his parents held and decided to stay out of it.

Due to this when Josva turned 16 he left home to become a pilot as he thought learning to fly would be the best way out of the life his parents lived. He joined up with the military in hopes of becoming a fighter pilot and moved to the central planet of Yamatai to undergo basic training. It was here Josva gained his first full, real exposure to Minkan culture. During basic training Josva found he was getting outshone by some of his comrades which lead to him to begin to resent his parents for refusing to move into Minkan bodies. This weakness in himself forced him to drive himself and push himself as much as he could to prove he was just as capable as any others in his unit. During his downtime in basic training,while the rest of his unit would relax and spend time having fun, Josva sought to better himself and improve on his skills. He decided he would spend his down time learning to drive and by the end of basic he had learned how to drive cars and trucks.

He then went on to flight school where he learned to fly star fighters, it was here Josva became comfortable with himself and really felt at home, he excelled in flying and softened up slightly. Upon finishing among the top pilots at flight school, in fact being listed among the top 2 percent in the school, he signed up to a starship to begin his career.

Josva is fluent in Yamataigo as it is his native tongue, he is conversational in Trade but is working on improving his Trade. He knows how to send and receive transmissions using a headset whilst working. He is also capable of writing out and filling in reports and forms that are required.

Whilst in basic and at Flight School, Josva underwent a rigorous training program preparing him for physical encounters were they unavoidable. This program had him master hand to hand combat with and without power armor, it had him train his physical strength and endurance in both Yamatai and Zero gravity environments. Josva is also trained to use Energy Pistols and Knives to a capable level and respond to enemy fire.

As a Star Army Soldier it is necessary for Josva to know how to use any computer running on the Kessaku OS, he can do this to enter and find information required.

A basic understanding of Algebra, Trigonometry and mathematics in general is required of any and all Star Army enlistees, and Josva is gifted with mathematics as he finds it aids him in his flying.

Due to being a pilot Josva has trained a flight school and finishing in the top 3 percentile of his class. He is trained to use a Hayabusa V6D Starfighter, V7 “Ginga” Bomber, a V8 “Kawarime” Fighter as well as most shuttles, he can fly these with expert precision. Whilst in flight school he received additional training to fly small starships in emergency situations. He can navigate a course for a ship with ease and is versed in Astrometrics.

If required Josva can be placed into a number of other vehicles to offer his help. He can drive cars, trucks, hovercrafts with ease and at a push can operate Mecha.

Being a fighter Pilot Josva needs to be prepared in case of an emergency landing. If for some reason Josva should crash or is shot down and survives he is trained to deal with the situation well, he has the skills required to survive for long periods of time in uncomfortable surroundings and environments provided he can find valuable nutrients. He is trained to build a shelter, camouflage himself and create signals.
