Build and Skin Color: Saku's current NH-29 body is slender and athletic looking, sporting an hourglass-like figure. Her skin color is a very dark brown, almost black.

Eyes and Facial Features: Saku has soulful, deep red eyes, just a touch below the color of oxygenated blood. She keeps her eyebrows thin and well-groomed, using them to draw attention to her almond-shaped eyes. She has an oval-shaped head with narrow but full cheeks which draw down to her small chin. She has full lips that she keeps polished according to her mood that day. Her base color is a standard red.

Ears: Saku doesn't particularly care for her ears, electing to keep them as inconspicuous as possible. They're still catlike, but slightly smaller than average. The fur is short and matches her skin color.

Hair Color and Style: Saku keeps her shoulder-length black hair luxuriously soft and well-kept. She likes her hair to be pliable and able to be fixed in several positions, whether it be thrown down or kept in a bun. By default, she keeps her hair wavy and down.

Distinguishing Features:

Personality: Saku can be anything you want her to be: it's her modus operandi in life. Nothing drives this point home clearer than her attitudes towards gender; Saku is comfortable as both a woman and a man, although she keeps up the appearances of a female to fit in better with those around her. This fluidity in personal identity also covers how she interacts with the world. She is able to shift effortlessly from one identity to the next, one body to another, without hesitation.

It is difficult to 'peg' Saku for what she is. Sometimes, she doesn't even know herself. SAINT uses her, and she allows herself to be used.

Star Army of Yamatai

Created in YE 27, after initial training, Saku's natural aptitude for subterfuge was noticed by her superiors, and she was placed into SAINT as an intelligence agent. During the 1st Mishu War, she performed a few high-risk assignments (including one where she had to escape capture from Mishu forces) and managed to come out in one piece, earning commendation from her superiors. However, Saku continually found herself unfit for promotion, for one reason or another. She never really complained about it.

She has been assigned to the YSS Byakuren, where she has assumed the identity of Akiko Yamamoto, a somewhat brash and outspoken technician.

Saku is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Saku has a passion for languages and is fluent in Nepleslian, Yamataian and Mishu, with working knowledge of several others. She can speak and write efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. Saku understand field communications and rudimentary signals as well.

Aside from the basic training given all soldiers in the Star Army, Saku has been trained in hand-to-hand techniques that are focused on maiming and killing opponents as efficiently as possible. She knows how to kill discreetly if need be.

She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, rifles, knives, and power armor.

Saku has been trained in how to survive hostile environments and can do things like hunt, fish and build shelters if need be.

Saku is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information. She's very comfortable using learning software to download programs and skillsets she may need to know on assignment.

Saku received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.

Saku is a natural actor and takes to new roles seamlessly and without hesitation. Whoever she needs to be, she is able to put across a believable front, through a combination of using environmental cues and audacious confidence in her abilities. As an intelligence agent, she has been forced into life and death situations where she has had to put up a persona or risk death. She is skilled in ventriloquism and voice mimicry.

In order to be on top of her game, Saku has devoted considerable time to the study of the psychologies of several intergalactic species. Through her studies and practical experience, she tries to predict emotional states and motives and operate on them. She has studied what makes general members of these species tick and how to best use these things against them.

Saku is trained in several ways of finding and extracting information through technological, clandestine and physical means. She is also experienced in 'hands-on' information extraction, including such things as seduction, stealing, pickpocketing, and interrogation techniques. She is able to interpret and present the information she receives to superiors for review.

Saku knows the history and laws of Yamatai. She has, through rigorous study and uploading relevant data to her OS, become familiar with the histories, culture and laws of other factions in order to make her disguises more believable.
