Build and Skin Color: John Davis is wiry and small, but fit. He still has some growing to do. He has white, freckled skin.

Hair Color and Style: A redhead, John\'s short, straight hair is cut short at the sides and back. The top is jagged cut which allows for a bit of styling. He goes two ways with this: shaggy for casual times and neatly combed for formal occasions (a carry-over from his upbringing).

Distinguishing Features: John always keeps himself clean shaven. He never wants a beard. Ever.

Personality: John's at that age where everything is confusing. Full of testosterone and a desire to step out of his father's shadow, he wants to make his own unique mark in the world, but he also possesses an appreciation for where he came from.

He was raised to respect marines but has never been around them. He stands out like a sore thumb with his attention to etiquette and his polite manners, but he is prone to emotional swings like any other teenager. When things get too complicated, he embraces the solace provided behind the wheel of a vehicle.

John is young and idealistic, and he cherishes what Nepleslia represents. Maybe, one day, he can live up to her expectations.

John Davis is the son of Vivian Davis and Robert Davis, the founding Premier of the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia. His earliest memories of his family were warm ones, even if the details were fuzzy. He remembers crying into the green of his father\'s sleeve when told of his mother\'s death. Then after that, he remembers how things changed, as his aunt became his foster mother while Robert served the nation.

Tina Parsons raised him in a cultured setting where John learned the finer points in life, but each night he would look to the stars and want to be part of his father\'s work. He read books and magazines about military life between various lessons. By the time he was 15, he knew he wanted to join the marines and began counting down the days until he was 18.

As soon as he could drive, he was going fast, simulating the twists and turns that military vehicles would perform in the field. Right after he crashed his second car and immediately followed it up with almost smashing a biplane into the house, his aunt made him read books instead. When John turned 17, his father surprised him with a trip to the shipyards. It was a dream come true, and that instant he knew he would be a vehicle specialist.

With a lot of begging and pleading, John convinced his father to pull some strings and enroll him in a military vehicle training program where he spent the year up to his 18th birthday training every day.

Now that day has come and John Davis is about to live his dream.

Communication : John is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, ships, ground vehicles, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. John is fluent in Nepleslian and can speak some Yamataian. He can speak and write them correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. John is skilled in field communications and is proficient in all rudimentary forms of communication (hand signals, flashing lights, etc).

Specialty: Land vehicles (Na-K4): Having crashed a few of these during his training, and being forced to repair them, John is quite familiar with the workings and piloting of this series of vehicles. His skills are growing day by day, but he needs practical experience in the field. He\'s not afraid of taking risks with a vehicle and has practiced several high-risk maneuvers to the point of being comfortable with them.

Marine Discipline: John loves the marines and has read the stories of several war heroes. He knows protocol like the back of his hand and tries to aspire to be a model marine during his time in the service. He may be in for a nasty surprise when he actually meets a real marine.

Fighting and Physical: John went through basic marine combat training and knows all the necessary components of such training. He\'s passed all the physical requirements as well. He\'s no hotshot with a gun, but he can hold his own.

Power Armor Training: John knew that he couldn\'t spend all his time in a vehicle, so he opted to supplement his skills with power armor training. John completed the cross-armor power armor training required of all armor pilots and is skilled in using a Hostile.

Humanities: Although he hides it, John is an extremely well-educated individual. He can be quite eloquent, knows proper etiquette and has a high-end home schooling that most Nepleslians dream of. A lot of this knowledge is rather useless in the field, but one never knows when it can come in handy.

Arts - Musician: John learned how to play the piano and the violin (fiddle), which is, by far, his favorite instrument to play. He\'s trying to learn how to play the guitar in his free time.
