Build and Skin Colour: Meli has fair skin, and is just a little built.

Facial Features and Eye Colour: Meli has a very pretty face, and has a stripe of green Diatom symbiotes going from her chin and thinning as it reaches her mouth. Her Eyes are also deep green.

Hair Colour and Style: Her hair is blond, cropped short.

Distinguishing Features: Meli has cybernetic legs and arms, and has a large green diatom structure on her back in the shape of an empty circle.

Personality: Usually light-hearted, but is very cynical about the situation most of the time. Coming from a Freespacer society, Meli used to be very peaceful and didn't question the general mentality, which advocated peaceful solutions. However now, she is disillusioned about war, finding that war is needed, making herself a tool of such. She has a vendetta against Yamatai for the near-destruction of the Freespacer race. Some people find Meli hard to talk to due to cynicism and the harsh words she sometimes uses. However, she is quite graceful and attractive, which has made her the object of many during her life.

Meli never knew her parents, due to the cloning processes in freespacer society

Once a peaceloving type three Freespacer who created many pieces of art. After the genocide of the Freespacers, Meli exchanged her organic legs and arms with strong cybernetic limbs in order to augment her fighting abilities, which she started to train herself in. She exiled herself from the Freespacer's society in order to “Toughen herself up” and to learn more about Yamatai; namely its weaknesses. Deciding that she could not possibly make a difference against Yamatai alone, she bought tickets to Skadi in the South Gate area, in order to find a ship that would take her to the UOC where she wouldn't ever have to set eyes upon those 'damn Yammies' ever again. Meli hopes that in the UOC she'll find people sympathetic to her cause and be willing to work with her against Yamatai.

Meli is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, ships, ground vehicles, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Meli is fluent in Nepleslian. She can speak and write it correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. Meli is skilled in field communications and is proficient in all rudimentary forms of communication (hand signals, flashing lights, etc).

Meli received intensive hand-to-hand combat training (primarily focused on disabling and/or killing opponents) and has followed up that knowledge with a rigorous training program. Weapons he is trained in include pistols of all types, knives, grenades (and other forms of explosive weaponry) and rifles of all kinds. Meli can repair weaponry with adequate tools and time. Meli is in excellent physical shape and has considerable endurance. Meli is also able to pilot land-based power armors, but must rely on the suit’s A.I. to do anything advanced

Meli knows how to survive in hostile environments. She can build shelters, hunt and forage for food, build a fire, etc. Meli can camouflage herself and is familiar with guerrilla warfare tactics.

Meli can understand and give out tactical commands and work with her troop to follow those commands efficiently. She knows the importance of teamwork on the battlefield, has been intensively trained in discipline and morale, and is able to recognize the command structure even while under extreme pressure (combat, etc). Meli is able to recognize ambush points. She knows basic math in order to calculate distances, etc, and can use a tactical map.

Meli used to be an artist within the Freespacer society, and well liked for it. She is quite good at sculpting with metal, painting, and industrial design.

When she was still a peace-loving member of the Freespacer society, she learned how to cook quite delicious meals with what they had, which wasn't much. She can cook good meals with scarce materials.

Along with creating art, Meli was also good at designing things. While many times they were more form over function, they still functioned well. Now, there is more function out of her designs, but there is certainly still an artsy quirk to all of them.
