The uniform shirt is a turtleneck style shirt with sewn in padding on the chest, shoulders, abdomen, and back area. The padding is made of artificial spider silk about 4 centimeters thick with projectile resistant qualities to protect the soldier from light caliber arms fire as well as knife attack.

The soldiers rank is shown on the collar of the turtle neck via a pin. Their ship/unit insignia is located on the upper left arm while the branch insignia is located upon their upper right arm. The Seal of the Empire is then sewn into the shirt on the right side chest padding.

The uniform's beret, which has a small Imperial Seal on the front, is normally worn when off ship or outside a building and is tucked into a special loop on the left shoulder of the turtle neck when inside. While on board a vessel, it is stored in a soldier's quarters. Finishing off the uniform, soldiers wear cargo pants with a flap pocket on each leg. This part of the uniform enables a soldier to carry multiple items without taking up their hands. Along with a black leather belt containing the soldier's sidearm, a leather pouch, and three slots for pistol magazines, an Abwehran soldier will have enough space to carry everything he would need for everyday use. The rest of the uniform is a usual pair of black boots and a pair of black, suede gloves.
