Mayuki is a Player Character played by Scot. She is newly assigned to the senbu.

Hair Color and Style: Short orange hair that, while groomed in the mourning, becomes a mess shortly after, generally due to work.

Distinguishing Features: Catlike ears, 4 fingers.

Personality: Mayuki is a “go to” kind of girl, every day she draws energy in for the day ahead and looking toward the next day of work. She is generally very friendly and will go out of her way to help others. While she enjoys a good challenge, she can be ill tempered when given hard tasks that were not of her doing, or if someone inexperienced or unqualified tries to give her advice. She is easily infatuated and sometimes a flirt to those she likes.

Likes: Alcohol, working, asked for help within her profession Dislikes: A problem that is not her fault, faulty machines and programming, anything that looks like ramen, asked to do things that is not in her line of work Goals: -To become a great mechanic, known by all -Repair 50 ships before she reaches 8 years old.

Mayuki was born in late YE 28 in Kyoto, Yamatai, at a Ketsurui Zaibatsu factory. She was quickly sent to a Star Army training camp, where she and and other Nekovalkyrja learned the ways of fighting and social interaction, soon after it was realized that Mayuki would make an excellent technician. During exercises, she showed proficiency at repairing armor and maintaining weapons longer than was expected of them to break down. She also was able to modify existing tech into a new device, though this came with mixed results and not as effective as factory made items. While not the best mechanic, she has dreams to becoming widely known someday and holds lofty goals for herself to complete in 8 years.

Mayuki is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starship, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Your character is fluent in Nepleslian, and Yamataian. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. She also has the Nekovalkyrja ability of telepathic communication.

Mayuki received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor.

Mayuki is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

Mayuki received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.

Mayuki has the ability to maintain and repair starship, amours, as well as associated equipment such as weaponry and upgrades.

Mayuki can create things from spare parts of existing things, though typically not as good as a factory made item, and generally lasts after it's first use. Such as a small turret that can fire one round with parts of a gun and starship tech.

Mayuki plays a Chinese violin, she finds the long note strings to be soothing, just as the instrument is complex to use. Ironically, she doesn't know how to fix the instrument, and has a lot of string to replace broken strings as backup.
