In the 3月 YE 31, the Mishhuvurthyar launched an offensive against the Yamatai Star Empire.

The war began with large numbers of Mishhuvurthyar ships of new types have converged on Nataria and the entrances to the Ketsurui Military Sector in a sudden, powerful attack against Yamatai Star Empire (First Battle Of Nataria). Yamatai lost Nataria, Tami System, and Tatiana and Nepleslia has lost its southern expanse (former SMX systems) plus Valaad (An Rhy).

An attack on the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia soon followed, with NMX forces reclaiming the former SMX worlds that made up Nepleslia's Southern Colonial Expanse.

The war finally came to an end in YE 34 after a series of decisive battles:

1. The YSS Miharu was able to free and return a large number of starships from the Second Draconian War that were previously thought to be lost
2. The combined, enlarged forces of the Star Army were used to retake the key system of Nataria in the Second Battle of Nataria, crippling NMX Logistics
3. Almost immediately afterward, the Battle of Yamatai broke the stalemate and put the Star Army of Yamatai in a position to conduct assaults on the NMX homeworlds.
4. The Battle of Rabaal was the final assault on NMX headquarters

The Second Mishhuvurthyar War was a community-wide meta-plot event.
