Build and Skin Color: Raquel has Caucasian skin and maintains a slight tan. Despite her petite stature, she maintains her body with good muscle definition. She has a nice figure, and her c-cup breasts look larger on her small frame.

Facial Features and Eye Color: Raquel has a narrow face with a narrow nose, she has strong cheekbones which gives her a hawkish appearance. Her cheeks are slightly more pink than the rest of her complexion and she blushes easily. Her eyes are round, and are a bright violet. Her ears are normal human ones but they are naturally slightly pointed.

Hair Color and Style: Dark red hair, she has bangs in the front, and the hair is tapered on the sides. In the back her hair is down to the middle of her back.

Distinguishing Features: Raquel has a brown birthmark on the upper part of her left breast. It resembles the head of a lion. She chose to keep it when she upgraded.

Personality: Raquel is in most ways your typical young woman. She is a bit naive, trusting and occasionally a bit impulsive. The tragic loss of her parents a few years back has made her realize that life can be short. So she puts herself into whatever endeavor she chooses wholeheartedly. She makes friends easily and takes care of those she calls friends.

Likes: her friend, flirting, people, science, animals, dancing, music, hiking.

Dislikes: judgmental people, spicy foods, bullies, bigots

Goals: To fulfill her dream of becoming a xenobiologist, and studying new life forms.

Raquel was born in YE 15 in the seventh month, aboard a freighter that her parents worked on as crew. Her parents were Nepleslian and never chose to upgrade. When she was two they decided to settle down on Yamatai (Planet). They made their home in Kyoto. Her father worked in Ketsurui Fleet Yards as a maintenance person, and her mother operned a botanical shop where she grew plants and sold them along with homeopathy remedies, She attended Kyoto Shōgakkō, and Kyoto Chūgakkō. During her time in school she made friends with Yikateme Sakura and they have remained good friends over the years. In Chūgakkō Raquel excelled in science and decided she wanted to be a Xenobiologist.

In YE 30 her parents chose to join the new Scientific Studies Service (SSS). Raquel was proud of her parents decision and would visit them at the Primary Campus or the Tansaku Staging area

Early in YE 31 Raquel's parents left aboard the YSS Genus on an expedition. Shortly after the expedition left the Second Mishhuvurthyar War erupted. The Genus failed to return and the crew was declared missing. The loss of her parents affected Raquel deeply, and she chose to withdraw from Kyoto Kōtōgakkō in her first year.

YE 32 She decided to use her survivor benefits from the SSS and enrolled in the SSS Academy with the intention of getting her degree in five years.

Late in YE 33 she received word that the YSS Genus had been found by the YSS Aeon. While there were survivors, none of the Expedition members survived. Since there was no expectation of danger, none of them had created a mental backup. Raquel was forced to deal with the loss of her parents yet again, only this time it was with the certainty that they were deceased.

She was in Kyoto attending class when the Battle of Yamatai occurred. She stayed on the campus in the emergency bunkers under the school. After the battle she checked on her friend Yikateme Sakura and found that she had lost her family.

In the aftermath of the battle, she chose to upgrade to the Minkan body, and applied for a position in the SSS as a trainee.

In YE 33 she served on Journeymen 3.

In YE 36 she officially completed her training requirements, and was promoted. She was assigned to the YSS Genshō

• Communications: Raquel is fluent in Yamataigo (邪馬台語), Trade (language), she is learning telepathy. She is trained in basic radio usage. She can send and receive messages through headsets and handheld radios.
• Science: Raquel is studying and working on a degree in Xenobiology

Raque is also trained in basic SSS field protocols, such as; setting up an encampment, working a site, artifact preservation, etc.
