The Battle of Becurn was a conflict during the Third Mishhuvurthyar War fought in the Kosuke Sector it occurred in YE 46.4.

In 45.1 the ISS Shiori discovered a planet in YC-56K (Later named the Becurn System) with two transplanted warring species, which consisted of the Cemlae and the Mocaidins.¹⁾²⁾

In YE 45.6, the crew of the YSS Mazu answered the distress call of an unknown ship downed on the second planet in the YC-06C (Which in later would become the Sharie System. Thy rescued an Illionite, and brought back a dead Illionite as well as a Cemlae. The dead specimens were autopsied to learn more, and the Illionite was questioned. During his interrogation they discovered that the ship was an Illionite slave ship taking enslaved Cemlae back to their home world.³⁾

In the following months, the Colonization Initiative Alliance fleet set their temporary base of operations in the Sharie System and had several skirmishes with the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX).⁴⁾ Further interrogation of the Illionite revealed specifics on how his people placed the Cemlae and the Mocaidins on the third planet in the Becurn System and had them at war with each other for their entertainment. He also came clean that the War Masters of Illion had involvement with the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX) for slaves and new participants to their games.

In YE 46.4, the YSS Karasu Gin were conducting research on the Cemlae and the Mocaidins when they encountered the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX) warships. They sent a distress call, and the Becurn Star Fortress (Formerly YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City) was the first ship to respond. It was not long before the Becurn Star Fortress (Formerly YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City) was oveerwhelmed, and took extremely heavy damage. The crew of the YSS Karasu Gin were forced to abandon ship.

A nearby UNN Task Force exploring for positions to place their core worlds were the next to answer the call of the YSS Karasu Gin. They also positioned their flagship to act as a shield for the Becurn Star Fortress (Formerly YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City) while their leader, Katara(a copy of Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko that had been put in a Norian body ⁵⁾ rescued Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko from the battered Becurn Star Fortress (Formerly YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City).

Concurrently the YSS Yukika II⁶⁾, Iron Company Cohort, and YSS Mazu arrived on the scene gathering escape pods from the Becurn Star Fortress (Formerly YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City) and YSS Karasu Gin. The valiant crew of the YSS Yukika II under the command of Shosa Motoyoshi Tachiko ⁷⁾ see an opportunity in the battle and they board one of the new Asthlacthu-Class Gunships, the XSS Soth'oth, to try and capture or find out information about this new class of gunship.⁸⁾

Meanwhile Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko was taken back to the UNN flagship, the UNN Seojun and given access to communications so that she could resume contact with her fleet. A short time later the Lorrheim Expeditionary Strike Group arrived with reinforcements and changed the tide of the battle.

The Star Army of Yamatai forces consisted of:

• the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet (Including the Becurn Star Fortress (Formerly YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City), the YSS Karasu Gin and YSS Yukika II.The Lorrheim Expeditionary Strike Group) arrived as reinforcements near the end of the battle.
• the First Expeditionary Fleet (Namely the YSS Mazu).

Other forces included:

• the United Norian Imperium (Namely the UNN Seojun, UNN Phatamos, seven ships in total.)
• the Iron Company Cohort.

The Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX) forces consisted of:

• 4 Neithorngom-Class Battleships, 16 Asthlacthu-Class Gunships and 4000 Hota-class battlepods.
• The War Masters of Illion (1 ship)

After an intense battle and the loss of the YSS Karasu Gin, the YSS Yukika II and the YSS Mazu along with their allies from the United Norian Imperium were able to push out and neutralize the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX) presence in the system.

Notably, the crew of the YSS Yukika II was able to capture one of the new Asthlacthu-Class Gunship.

The Becurn Star Fortress (Formerly YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City) was severely damaged in the battle. KFY engineers at Port Jiyuu and Taisho Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko recommended it for decommissioning and to be converted into a space station in the Becurn System. Due to the loss of the shipKetsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko left the battle on the YSS Yukika II.⁹⁾

The Shield Of Becurn is planned to be distributed to the members of the Star Army of Yamatai that participated in the battle.
