The Primus class of battleship is Nepleslia's the largest and most powerful capital class warship in its recent history that serves a premier role as a stalwart anti-starship and anti-fleet platform.

The Primus was designed by Nepleslian Arms and Munitions and introduced into the NSN in YE 35 and has been a staple of the star navy ever since. While present in all the assault fleets, The primus is set to be phased out by other platforms by YE 45

The Primus is a slight departure from the normal rectangular Nepleslian designs. It has a wide and long rectangular shape, tapering at the bow into two short, heavily-armored prongs. It also features three layered tiers on its ventral hull, gradually sloping upwards. Its main weapons turrets are visible on each tier while the majority of its smaller weapons are located along the hull, though some are lined up on the tiers.

The Primus has a simple job: be the most powerfully armed and heavily armored warship wherever it is and no matter what situation it finds itself in. For that purpose, it is equipped with the most numerous armament of Nepleslian starship weapons in nepleslia's long history. Due to its design, the Primus favors broadsides to make the best use of its powerful weapons arrays. Though it has a respectable arrangement of forward batteries to deliver death to any direction.
