Becurn Star Fortress (Formerly YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City)

Port Becurn is a Star Army of Yamatai base located in the Becurn System. It was previously known as the Becurn Star Fortress (Formerly YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City) and is the former Flagship of the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet. It is now located in the Becurn System after conversion to a Star Fortress.

The new mission for Becurn Star Fortress is:

• to ensure that the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX) and War Masters of Illion don't try to retake the system.
• to hold diplomatic proceedings between the Cemlae and Mocaidins.
• to lead the effort to find the actual homeworlds the Cemlae and Mocaidins were taken from by the War Masters of Illion.
• to serve as a base of operations for the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet.

The YSS Battle Of Ayenee Capital City was laid down at Gemini Star Fortress in YE 41, constructed under the orders of Taisho Kessaku Irim of the First Fleet. Its original IRN was, NF-S1-12. It was among the First Fleet ships that was involved in the Battle Of Glimmergold in YE 43, under the command of Tasia Sakurai Arata. The ship was badly damaged during the battle and was stationed at Ketsurui Star Fortress undergoing repairs for most of the remainder of YE 43.

In YE 44, following the Re-Establishment Of The Fifth Expeditionary Fleet, the ship was transferred to the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet under the command of Taisho Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko. Upon arrival at Gemini Star Fortress it was sent for updates and improvements in preparation for its role as the new flagship of the fleet.

In YE 46.8 the ship sustained heavy damage in the Battle Of Becurn. After the battle the ship was scrapped with plans of turning it into a space station in the Becurn System.²⁾ It was then renamed as Becurn Star Fortress and took its place in the system of its namesake. It was positioned to ensure that the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX) and War Masters of Illion don't try to retake the system. Sapporo Expeditionary Strike Group was assigned to secure and defend the system.

Modifications and Improvements to Becurn Star Fortress in YE 43.

Upon transfer to the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet in YE 44, the YSS Battle Of Ayenee Capital City was immediately sent to Gemini Star Fortress for the following improvements:

• Palace-Style Passageways Black carpeting, Jiyuuian Maple for woodwork, art, and tapestries to be transferred from Motoyoshi-jo and Jiyuu Jo.
• Updated to the Nodal Liquid Conduit System, a system which replaces the former Hemosynthetic Conduit System and Nodal System and ties together systems such as the Hemosynthetic Reconstruction Tube, Fabrication and Repair Systems and Star Army Standard Life Support Systems
• Addition of an aquarium ³⁾
• Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko's private chef from Takeda House, who will be vetted and brought on board, will update custom galley plans and wardroom specifications. Wardroom Art featuring paintings of Seijin no Umi will be transferred from Jiyuu Jo.
• Torpedo Compliment - In addition to regular armament inventory, please include Ke-Z3 Series Ransā Anti-Capital/Super-Capital Torpedo.
• YSS Tokyo-style YSS Tokyo Command Offices and Katsuko's YSS Tokyo Suite.
• Tokyo-Style Shipyard Upgrade.

Modifications and Improvements made during conversion to a Star Fortress.

• Palace-Style Passageways were divided modified to create salt water habitat so that the Cemlae could attend peace talks/diplomatic proceedings with the Mocaidins hosted by the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet. Some Star Army Standard Captain's Suite were also converted to aquatic habitat.
• All FTL systems were removed, due to the damage to the ship's truss and beam structures. The Turbo Aether Plasma Drive and ion thrusters remain to adjust position within the system.
• A museum dedicated to documenting the Battle of Becurn. Also included in the exhibits is documentation regarding the conflict between the Cemlae and Mocaidins battles triggered by the War Masters of Illion for entertainment.
