The Imperial Blossom Dome is the Regional and Local Government Building for the Motoyoshi Colonial Sector. It is located in the Motoyoshi-Cho district of Tokyo. It opened in YE 45.1.

In YE 44, following the aftermath of a devastating terrorist attack¹⁾ on the Capital Dome that had sat on the same site since the days of the United Outer Colonies. The Imperial Blossom Dome was built to serve as the new home for the Motoyoshi Colonial Sector Regional Government as well as the Planetary Government for Jiyuu III. The Yugumo Corporation completed construction in YE 45.1 under the supervision of Governor Motoyoshi-Ieyasu Tetsuya.

The building has three distinct zones.

The building has several notable areas within it.

The grand lobby is the official reception area of the new planetary and regional capital building. It is separate from the public lobby and is used to receive VIPs, representatives of allied worlds, and members of the Ketsurui Clan when they visit Jiyuu III. It is a lavishly decorated lobby with marble floors and pristine glistening chandeliers. It is often used for official events as well such as cocktail parties and gatherings.

The Colonial History Museum is considered to be an extension of the Hummingbird Keep Museum at Jiyuu Jo. It features rotating exhibits that represent the history of the colonization of Jiyuu III by the Yamatai Star Empire. Tours are available Mondays through Fridays from 10:00 until 18:00 local time.

The office of the current sitting governor of Jiyuu III. It includes access to the building's KAIMON which also provides connection to SYNC and the civilian side of PANTHEON. The decor is decided by the governor when they take office which makes the space customizable to their preferences. ²⁾

The meeting place of the Motoyoshi Colonial Sector Regional Government and the planetary government of Jiyuu III. This is where the local laws for the Motoyoshi Colonial Sector are reviewed, voted on, and passed before they are given to the Governors of the region for signing.

You can arrive at Jiyuu-jo by boat or by shuttle or small starship. It is connected to the Tokyo underground transit.

The members of the Motoyoshi Colonial Sector Regional Government work from here, and their service staff. Security is provided by the Yugumo Keisatsu.
