In YE 44, following the resignation of Imperial Premier Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko and her dispute with Senator Iemochi Seinosuke, a promise was made to provide a platform for Pro-Imperial politicians to have a platform for their voice within the Yamatai Star Empire. The Bellflower Party was then created by Motoyoshi-Ieyasu Tetsuya, the Governor of Jiyuu III and the Leader of the Imperialist Regional Government of the Motoyoshi Colonial Sector to fulfill that promise. Offices were then setup in Kyoto and Tokyo.

As with any political party, members may agree, partially agree, or disagree with some of the generalizations of the party but for the most part, they generally support those like-minded politicians. Voting outside party lines is totally acceptable and expected in the political arena.
Funding comes from both the Motoyoshi Clan and Ketsurui Clan, however yearly galas and fundraising events are held to bring in donations from party supporters, and other sources.
