The K4-W3202 anti-personnel mine is a simple shaped explosive weapon designed in YE 32 by Nepleslian Arms and Munitions to defend an area, or to be mounted on the sides of vehicles to be used against attackers.

The W3202 has to be remotely armed before usage through a wireless connection (normally datapad) before usage and normally before entering a combat area. At this time the device is set to computer controlled or manual detonation. It is recommended to double check the serial number on the underside of the mine when arming remotely.

Under computer controlled detonation mode the device is then put in place and the safety pin is pulled out to the ready position. The device can then be detonated via remote.

Under manual detonation the mine is placed and then the ready pin is pulled into the ready position. A small length of thin wire built into the bottom of the mine can then be pulled out and tied to the pin, then to something else to create a trip wire. When the pin is removed the weapon will detonate.

As a safety feature, the mine will not detonate until the pin is pulled into the ready position.
