Lieutenant Junior Grades, or Jay-Gees, are those who have shown they can keep themselves calm and able during a space battle. They aren't quite fully proficient, but have made a good start. Those like intelligence officers and diplomats of the Public Relations make this rank their first step into the Warrant and Joint field. Jay-Gees make 400 DA a week.
