First put into service in YE 29, Universal Mass Driver Canisters are NAM's standard payload for electromotive weaponry. There are four size grades of UMD canisters available: Armor grade, Vehicle grade, Starship grade, and Capital grade.. This article lists the specifics of each grade, as well as linking to systems that utilize them.

A UMD canister is used in a variety of Nepleslian weapons platforms and comes several flavors of warhead designated by a color.

• WHITE Tungsten Penetrator Canister: Tier 7 or Tier 8, Light Anti-Mecha or Medium Anti-Mecha (: Staff needs to determine which), reduced to Tier 3, Heavy Anti-Personnel against shields.
• BLACK Zanarium Sniper Canister: Tier 5 or Tier 6, Medium Anti-Armor or Heavy Anti-Armor (: Staff needs to determine which), reduced to Tier 4, Light Anti-Armor against shields.
• BLUE EMP Canister: Tier 5 or Tier 6, Medium Anti-Armor or Heavy Anti-Armor (: Staff needs to determine which) to shields, minor electronic scambling effects against unshielded targets.
• GREEN Antimatter Canister: Tier 8 or Tier 9, Medium Anti-Mecha or Heavy Anti-Mecha (: Staff needs to determine which) or Tier 3, Heavy Anti-Personnel if fired in 'buckshot' mode.
• YELLOW Subspace Pinger: no damage, emits subspace pulse.
