The First Command Group is, of course, the command group for the 2nd Assault Fleet. Although it is one of the smaller Battle Groups, it is still quite well-armed and formidable. Some of the best-trained marines and starship captains in the Imperium are in this fleet. It is something of a 'jack-of-all-trades' group, with numerous ships allowing it to succeed in numerous areas, although sometimes it must defer to its fellow groups
