Pants (Trousers)

Pants, also called trousers, are common garments in the SARPiverse setting for humanoids and and bipedal species.

A typical pair of pants costs around 15 to 25 KS or the local equivalent.

In YE 22, the Star Army of Yamatai made its first uniforms and chose a pair of cadet blue pants to pair with its blue top. This look has become the iconic Star Army look and has continued over the years into new Star Army Uniforms.

Pants typically cover all or most of the legs and some of the abdomen (up to or near to the waist). They are usually secured with buttons, zippers, or clasps. A belt can be used to help secure pants in place and many pants include belt loops. Many pants have pockets for holding small items like wallets and vehicle keys.

Some uniforms allow for the optional use of skirts instead of pants.

Pants aren't suitable for everyone. Some species that do not wear pants include:
