Introduced in YE 45 for use by the Fujiko Self-Defense Force (FSDF), the Homna Motors K1 Falcon Light Tactical Vehicle (LTV) is designed with mobility and protection in mind. It is commonly used for tasks deemed too unimportant or don't require the full protection of armor due to being far behind the battle lines.

Armored and wheeled off-road vehicles have been common among the Nepleslian Reds since their arrival in the Fujiko System. Lacking proper infrastructure, the Reds needed to buy various vehicles off the civilian market and modify them (heavily in some instances) to allow them to traverse the terrain of Fujiko IV and later Ukmirt A-4.

More professional militias begun incorporating more standardized designs for ease of repair, though the sight of “clown” car gangs of disorganized vehicles looking different remain common. With the formation of the FSDF, a need for a true standard armored vehicle was called for.

The Falcon LTV is:

• Modular
• Capable of on or off road
• Two base models (Utility and General Purpose)
• Can be modified to many purposes, detailed below.

The Falcon LTV finds itself someplace in between the Type 30 Surface Terrain Vehicle and the Light Surface Terrain Vehicle, Type 42. The Falcon LTV is as big (but narrower) as the Type 30 STV, but provides better overall protection due to being designed for unarmored individuals in mind. Though in terms of propulsion technology, the Falcon is inferior due to making use of an methanol internal combustion engine.

The Falcon Light Tactical Vehicle displays a commanding military presence. Its design is both aggressive and functional, featuring a pronounced angular nose with embedded headlights, and a reinforced bull bar suggesting resilience against rough terrains and impacts. The vehicle's sides reveal heavily armored doors (rear being suicide doors) and windows with thick frames and narrow slits, emphasizing occupant protection. Its massive wheels with deep treads give the Falcon high ground clearance, ideal for challenging terrains. Notably, the rear of the vehicle showcases angular armor plating and a storage or equipment compartment.

Developed for the transportation of individuals in combat environments, the Falcon LTV is essentially the Nepleslian Reds' version of the Type 30 STV. The main distinguishing feature of it is that the frame is highly adaptable to modifications. Aside from the frame of the vehicle, nearly everything on the Falcon LTV can be replaced.

The interior of the Falcon LTV differs very little from normal civilian vehicles. The driver sits in the left front seat with a steering wheel to control the vehicle while the vehicle commander or passenger sits in the right front seat.

The dashboard in front of both the driver and front passenger has various volumetric panels (and analog backups for the driver) that programable to display whatever information they desire from the built-in computer and connected systems.

Falcon's with only the two front seats (and a smaller cab) are known as Utility Falcons.

A versatile platform, the Falcon is capable of being used for a multitude of tasks depending on the model of the vehicle. Below are current variants available:

In General Purpose Falcons, the cab is expanded to allow an additional two passenger seats in the rear. A standing platform is also installed between these seats to allow a turret gunner if the vehicle has a ring turret.

Troop carriers are based on the utility variant with a covered flatbed in the back. Four passengers can sit on either side's folding bench and enter/exit from the rear in the 4×4 model. In the 6×6 model, 6 passengers can sit on either side of the back.

An adaptation of the Troop Carrier, the benches extended to carry a stretcher. With an additional bench added to the top, the Ambulance Falcons can carry 4 stretchers, 6 ambulatory patients, or a combination of the two. Medics typically sit on a cramped area to the front of the enclosure with storage for medical supplies.

Similar to the Ambulance Falcon, the rear compartment of the Utility Falcon functions as a mobile machine shop. In addition to tools for repairs, a MultiStruct Multitool printer installed allows for small replacement parts to be created if needed.

Built on the Utility Falcon, the rear of the the Air Defense Falcon consists of a weapon turret with two weapon pods (one of each side). Below each weapon pod is a comprehensive sensor suite used for the location and tracking of hostile threats. A “Peekaboo” ECM Pod that consisting of a Mass Mesher Device and radar/thermals disrupting smoke grenade launchers is installed on top of the cab to allow Air Defense Falcons to blend with their surroundings.

The Falcon LTV normally is not equipped with weapons. But variants do exist where weapon systems can be installed.

Installed with an armored (but exposed) ring turret or a remote crew served weapon, single crew served weapons can be installed. Below is an example weapon that can be used.

Added to Falcons using the Utility base, the Air Defense package allows for highly mobile anti-air defense of important enough targets. A FiveR Missile Pod, Desert Wind Autocannon, or a similar weapon pod is located on either side of a turret system. Required tracking sensors are located under each weapon pod and the whole system is controlled within the cab of the LTV.

The Falcon LTV is made of a v-hulled Durandium Alloy frame that is both lightweight and provides protection to the crew from anti-armor landmines. The outer skin of the vehicle's frame, doors, and another panels used to create an enclosure are also made of Durandium Alloy. A thin layer of nanocomposite is applied over it for weathering protection. “Unarmored” Falcons are cable of resisting small-arms fire.

Add-on armor is made of Osmiridium nanocomposites. When added to the frame of the vehicle, it is capable of resisting most power armor tiered weaponry.

The Falcon LTV is typically unshielded. However, power armor grade shielding can be installed if additional sources of power storage are added to the vehicle.

Developed for planatery conditions, the Falcon LTV has limited environmental sealing. The vehicle is both air and watertight, but most vehicles lack an internal life support system. This is due to the doors not functioning as airlocks. It is highly encouraged that individuals expecting hostile conditions to wear environmental suits for life support.

Despite lacking proper life support, all Falcons have an excellent heating/cooling and filtration system system.

The Falcon LTV is powered by a methanol/electric hybrid drive. The Raijin Hybrid Drive is capable of powering external structures such as small buildings, hospitals, etc.

A Passage tier KAIMON computer system is installed. Located in the center front of the vehicle, between the driver and passenger, it's primary purpose is to monitor the vehicle's Raijin Hybrid Drive and any additional electronics that might be installed on the vehicle.

The primary communications system is provided by the Passage tier KAIMON AI system. Users of the Falcon are capable of communicating with others via Radio and Hyperspace methods with built-in attenna located to the rear of the vehicle. Additional apparatuses need to be installed to make use of laser communications and sensor capabilities typically seen with power armor.

The General Purpose Falcon is not primarily a cargo vehicle. The rear of the vehicle can carry small amounts of cargo such as rucksacks of thoses within the vehicle. But it (like all models of the Falcon) have a hitch that allows it to tow a trailer with additional capacity.

The General Purpose 4 seater base has a weight carrying capacity of 1,600 kg, while the two seater Utility base has one of 2,300kg.

Primary designed to be modular, the Falcon LTV does not come with standard equipment beyond mounting points. It is up to the user to equip their vehicles how they desire.
