Benna is a dog anthro with fur brown and white covering her body. She has teal-colored hair on her head and a few other places on her body. Benna has gorgeous dark green eyes and a nervous but cheerful personality.

Benna joined the Star Army of Yamatai in YE 39. In YE 41, she was promoted to Nitô Hei and placed in charge of communications at Nakajima Star Fortress. When the Star Fortress was destroyed in the Battle of Hanako's Star, Benna evacuated in an escape pod full of survival items and landed on Hanako's World.

Benna headed North to Dragon Island because it was essentially unpopulated. After waiting several weeks to make sure no one was coming, she set up a tent to live in and survived on preserved food and ration pills.

In 3月 YE 42, she was promoted to Ittô Hei in absentia while still MIA. Unbeknownst to her at the time, she also was promoted to Shoi in 1月 YE 43 due to the Accelerated Officer Program.

In 3月 YE 43, she was promoted (once again in absentia) to the rank of Chui. Finally in 5月 YE 43 she was rescued by the crew of the YSS Resurgence after nearly two years of surviving on her own.

In YE 44, Benna attended Star Army Navigator courses at Star Army Academy. After completing her MOS training, Benna was stationed on the YSS Resurgence with Gabriela Lively as her mentor.

In YE 44.7, Benna assisted during the Arrival of the Norians by evacuating hundreds of orphaned Norian children¹⁾.

In YE 45.1, Benna was selected to command the YSS Renaissance. She was transferred officially, promoted, and her MOS was updated in YE 45.3.
