Adrin Eitan’s INTJ2) personality was shaped by a sharp strategic mind, independence, and an unwavering focus on the future. From an early age, he showed a natural talent for problem-solving and long-term planning, accompanying his father on diplomatic missions and military campaigns. When circumstances forced him into leadership following the Dysterian War, Adrin’s decisive and pragmatic nature became evident. He expanded Norian influence into Ayenee, forging critical alliances with the Nerimian Defense Initiative (NDI) and the Yamatai Star Empire, and played a key role in the Chaos Hive War. His leadership was marked by calculated decisions, always prioritizing the strength and survival of Noria.
After his capture in the Umarian Wars and presumed death, he chose to live in secrecy on Ayenee, away from the empire he once ruled. Yet, Adrin’s detached and often solitary nature complicated his personal relationships. He regrets his paranoia led him to send his heirs away, fearing betrayal, while his emotional distance created a rift with his son, Tetsuya, whose struggles with mental illness at the end of his life, Adrin could not fully understand.

Adrin Eitan was born in the year 480 BYE on the capital world of Noria, into the prestigious Norian Imperial family. As the second eldest son of Caecyan and Teal Eitan, Adrin enjoyed all the privileges afforded to those of noble birth. His father, the legendary Caecyan, was the unifier of the Norian people3), having brought them under a single government. Though he lived a life of luxury, Adrin had never anticipated ascending to the throne, as his elder brother Sorin showed little interest in leadership or the responsibilities of the crown.
From an early age, Adrin accompanied his father on matters of state, ranging from delicate diplomatic missions to military campaigns. His natural aptitude for strategy became apparent, often devising innovative solutions to challenges that others overlooked. In YE 01, when the first Norian pioneers ventured through the ancient GATES technology to Ayenee, Adrin was among the first to volunteer. The new world, filled with feudal races and untapped potential, sparked his curiosity and ambition.
Later that same year, the outbreak of the Dysterian War drastically altered Adrin's fate. Summoned back to Noria, he was tasked with leading his newly established space army. The bombing of Dysteria became a catalyst for his father, Caecyan, to abdicate the throne, passing the mantle of leadership to Adrin. Though the throne officially remained on Noria, Adrin channeled considerable resources into establishing settlements and engaging with the factions of Ayenee. Under his leadership, the Norians soon controlled half of a major continent on Ayenee, solidifying their presence.
During this period, Adrin led several military organizations, including the enigmatic Dark Order4) and the Xythael5), where he often adopted the guise of an elf to blend in with the local populations. His interactions with Ayenee’s complex political landscape demonstrated his keen ability to adapt and lead in foreign territories.6)
In time, Adrin's influence extended beyond Ayenee, particularly with his encounter with the Nerimian Defense Initiative (NDI), the first spacefaring faction he engaged with. An alliance was quickly formed, facilitating trade and the exchange of technology between Noria and the NDI, both of whom had a foothold on Ayenee. This alliance further expanded when Adrin was introduced to the Uesureyan Star Empire, which would later evolve into the Yamatai Star Empire. These partnerships proved vital as the newly established Norian Galactic Empire, under Adrin's command, fought alongside its allies during the Chaos Hive War in YE 21. Following the conflict, Adrin withdrew most Norian assets from Ayenee, though, out of a growing paranoia, he sent his heirs back to Ayenee, wary that they might one day overthrow him.
In YE 29, during the tumultuous Umarian Wars, Adrin was captured and presumed dead, leaving his son, Tetsuya, to inherit the empire. Adrin’s apparent demise marked a significant turning point in Norian history. Yet, unbeknownst to many, he had survived and sought refuge on Ayenee, living in secrecy until YE 45, when Aurelia Eitan, Director of ISAN’s star navy, discovered him.7) His time on Ayenee was largely shrouded in mystery, with few details emerging beyond his brief marriage to Xytrinah, also known as Satrina Eitan.8)
Adrin’s return to Noria in YE 469) marked a new chapter in his life. He sought to rebuild his fractured relationship with Tetsuya, though this proved difficult as his son descended into obsession and madness, fixated on a woman named Ves, whom he believed could be conjured into reality through dreams. This mental decline culminated in tragedy later that same year, with Tetsuya's death under suspicious circumstances. In the aftermath, Adrin made a bold move, seizing the ship his son had designed for him from the United Norian Navy, setting the stage for yet another dramatic shift in the empire’s history.10)
