The Goschatha Point Defense Cannon is a Polaron high-energy pulse weapon that was first deployed on the Neithorngom-Class Battleship in YE 45. It is set to be deployed on other SMX and NMX ship classes in the future.

In YE 45, the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Nougpift sought a point-defense cannon design, that also would fill the anti-armor role on the new classes of ships that were being deployed by the SMX and NMX. Out of the different designs presented they selected the Goschatha Point Defense Cannon, which delivered a Polaron high-energy pulse.

The Polaron high-energy pulse sourced from a specialized compact Polaron particle generator system that would be independent at each cannon assembly. The Polaron high-energy pulses are very effective at interfering with barriers and electronics, and were successful in combating power armors like the Ke-M2-4 Series "Mindy" Armor fielded by the Star Army of Yamatai. The Goschatha Point Defense Cannons are positioned below the armored skin of the ship until they are needed in combat, at which time an access port is opened on the skin and the quad-barreled cannon is elevated to the surface.

Goschatha Point Defense Cannons are often positioned in effective clusters. They are in higher concentrations around launch bays, access ports, and other key structures on the hull of the vessel they are installed on.
