NMX Cargo and Supply specialists are a sometimes overlooked but always important small section of the NMX military, responsible for making sure the NMX war machine doesn't break down for lack of parts, supplies, and materiel. The NMX Cargo and Supply maintains his/her unit's inventory and stocks and orders what is needed and makes sure it gets to where it needs to go, and also advises his/her commander on supply levels and needs. Most starships have at least one Cargo and Supply officer or specialist. In low-level field units like infantry, cargo and supply may be a secondary duty of one or two of the combat troops instead of a dedicated position.
