The Capital Ship Bridge is a standardized design that is intended for use on all future Nepleslian capital warships. It is composed of two sections: the Tactical Bridge and the Combat Information Center (CIC). The Bridge requires only the Captain or Executive Officer as well as a handful to operate, as long as the AI is able to take up the slack. To operate at full efficiency, more bridge crew are required. The bridge is the heart and brain of the ship. If the bridge crew are incapacitated, killed or just stupid, the whole ship suffers.

The Tactical Bridge section is where the ship's Captain controls the warship and gives orders to the crew. They take the information from the CIC and translate it into action. Meanwhile, the CIC crew collect and analyze information with the help of the ship's AI. They are presided over by the ship's Executive Officer or another of the ship's senior officers. Their job is paramount since the entire ship responds to the data and conclusions they provide. One mistake could have fatal consequences.

Both sections must work in tandem to ensure the ship's optimum efficiency and lethality in combat. Anything less could result in the death of the entire ship's crew.
