A simple elevator, the Origin Industries Standard Elevator measures 5'x5'x10'. Its purpose is to move people from one deck to another, and it does so efficiently. The floor is usually carpet but can be hardwood or faux marble, as can the walls. The elevator is capable of lifting up to 5 tons of cargo, so long as the cargo fits inside. Depending on weight, it can move up and down between 5 and 10 MPH.
