The Deluxe Suite is a large and rather luxurious cabin found on larger Origin Industries starships built after YE 40. It is a mostly self-contained apartment-style living accommodation for the captain - or another similarly important figure - of a starship.
Measuring approximately 10 meters by 10 meters in size, the Deluxe Suite contains multiple living spaces, including a living room, bedroom, a full bathroom (complete with a combination bathtub/shower, a toilet, and a sink), and a full kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator. Much larger than most living accommodations onboard a starship, the Deluxe Suite makes a person feel more at home up and to the point where there are viewscreen 'windows' on the walls - capable of simulating ambient lighting coming from 'outside' - that can be used to display cityscapes, island getaways, or even the depths of space. There is also plenty of storage and utility present in the Deluxe Suite - as it features a large walk-in closet and an 'office' area that comes with a computer terminal-equipped desk and a comfortable office chair.
