The Alyelume is a one of a kind plot ship unique to the The Silent Horizon plot. It was stolen in YE 46.8 by Adrin Eitan.

From YE 44 to YE 45 during the reign of Aerum Eitan over the ISANN there were advances made in Leviathan Technology which included more conventional build vessels with Leviathan Husk and Leviathan genetic material engineered to be grown within a conventional starship frame. Upon the return of Tetsuya Eitan to Noria and the creation of the United Norian Imperium. Excited with the advances in technology, as an avid starship designer, Tetsuya Eitan designed and ordered a ship to be built by Lux Aurora under what was named “PROJECT VENOMBLOSSOM”.

In the beginning of YE 46, the hull and conventional frame were laid down at Citadel Noria. Tetsuya Eitan selected genetic material from the original Yogosha Chonyosa to be engineered into the conventional hull and framework. The Leviathan grew very quickly due to the extreme age of its source. The ship and all of its systems were completed by YE 46.5. Tetsuya Eitan intended to give the ship as gift to his father, Adrin Eitan. It was scheduled for space trials and testing of it's advanced techology in YE 46.9, but following the death of Tetsuya Eitan in YE 46.8, Adrin Eitan and a group of his allies were forced to steal the vessel due to the meddling of the new Chancellor, Vaelaris Orinas.²⁾

The now renegade Alyelume, then made its way to the Kagami Galaxy as the crew made plans to defeat Vaelaris Orinas and those loyal to him.

This vessel is not designed for atmospheric or water use. It is not capable of making planetary landings. It is outfitted with a Transuniversal Breach Drive.

The Alylume features a sleek, elongated design with an almost organic feel to its hull. Its surface is lined with subtle, glowing blue lights that trace the contours of the vessel, highlighting its curves and sharp edges. The central body appears narrow and streamlined, tapering toward the forward section. The stern of the ship widens into a rounded, almost disc-like structure. The ship's overall color palette is a dark metallic gray, with glowing blue elements giving it a high-tech, stealthy appearance. The ventral and dorsal sections seem to house various concealed weapon mounts, with some sections illuminated noting propulsion structures..

These are some of the compartments found on the Alyelume.

On the Alyelume, the following conditions are maintained:

• A ship-wide temperature of ten degrees-Celsius. Warming suits are provided for non-Norian personnel or visitors.
• Lighting in the 400-500nm visible blue range.
• 80% Nitrogen 20% Oxygen Mixture.⁴⁾

Unlike most bridge designs, the central focal point of this bridge is the operations table, rather than a command throne, which is positioned farther aft. During combat operations and away missions, commanding officers, along with communications and tactical personnel, are stationed at the operations table. Here, tactical data and communications are routed directly for more efficient decision-making. The executive officer (XO) or first officer occupies a station on the forward-facing side of the table, opposite the captain.

Additional multi-purpose stations are available on the bridge, which can be configured for various roles such as science, engineering, non-combat communications, or extra tactical and operations positions, depending on the mission requirements.

In certain situations, the Mindhive avatar is capable of assuming full command and control of the bridge, should the need arise.

The Aleylume is equipped with several scientific laboratories that can be adapted to suit the mission's priorities, such as xenobiology, xenobotany, or the analysis of enemy weapons, as directed by the senior science officer. The ship also features two medical bays. The primary medical bay includes four surgical suites, several triage beds, as well as recovery and monitoring rooms. The secondary medical bay is located near the launch bay, ensuring rapid medical support for pilots and planetary marines.

Crew accommodations include three types of compartments; command/Ysi quarters, Officer quarters and Enlisted Bunk Barracks.

Command/Family Quarters are designed for either the captain, first officer and/or Ysi. The Ysi quarters are large enough to accommodate six to eight people. Even military ships have these units to accommodate the families of officers. These units contain:

• Four bedrooms with sleeping accommodations. The size of the bed is determined by who is living there. Storage is included.
• Two bathrooms with separate bathhouses.
• An Office Area attached to a communal living space, that includes a small kitchen for those who do not use the ship's dining lounges or wardroom.

Officer Quarters have:

• A combined sleeping, living and office area. Storage is included.
• One restroom with a separate bathhouse.

Enlisted Bunk Barracks include:

• Eight bunk-style bed racks, with minimal built in storage.
• One large communal shower room and separate toilet stalls.
• One locker room for personal and issued gear storage.

Other crew service areas include:

• Long-term storage areas for belongings that do not fit in living quarters.
• Laundry Rooms for the cleaning of clothing and linens.
• Entertainment Lounges that serve as gathering areas.
• Crew Library and Study Area (For those taking Academy Training).
• Briefing Halls for Pilots and Planetary Marines.
• A bar/pub
• Galley and Kitchen Facilities, which includes two dining halls and one senior officer's ward room.

The Aleylume features two distinct types of launch bay facilities: a Starfighter/Bomber Launch Bay and a Power Armor/Dropship Hub. The Norians utilize power armor primarily for planetary or boarding missions, with its use in space limited to ship-to-ship operations rather than direct space combat. Power armors are stored in stacked, multi-level rotating racks, each holding 50 armors, located on the starboard side of the launch bay. On the port side, the dropship hub facilitates planetary landings and includes a forcefield-enclosed launch corridor designed for boarding operations.

The Starfighter/Bomber Launch Bay is a through-and-through section situated on the aft ventral surface of the ship. It has two levels: the upper level serves as the launch platform, with forcefield-enclosed exits at both the bow and stern, while the lower level is dedicated to the storage and maintenance of fighter and bomber craft.

The Aleylume's engineering decks house the ship's powerplant and sublight drive systems within a highly secure, multi-level compartment. This area contains four of the six Universal Dimensional Tap Reactors, which are strategically arranged for easy access and maintenance. These reactors are responsible for tapping into the Aether or Asune Dimensions to charge the ship's capacitors and power the Jilae Dimensional Tap Drives (DTD) for sublight thrust. Two additional reactors are housed in the forward section of the ship for offensive and defensive systems in that part of the ship.

The capacitor banks, stored adjacent to the reactors, are monitored and managed from dedicated control stations. These capacitors distribute power throughout the ship, and the secondary capacitor system is located in an emergency-access compartment.

The compartment also contains the control systems for the Transuniversal Breach Drive (TBD), with Reactor 3 linked directly to it. This system, along with associated forcefields, ensures dimensional transitions are stable and smooth. Control consoles in this area allow for manual overrides and monitoring, with additional coordination from the bridge. The engineering decks are designed to allow swift access to all major components, facilitating maintenance and emergency operations when needed.

The inner workings of the Tirion-Class Cruiser.

The Alyelum's powerplant and drive systems are important for the operation of the ship. Primary Power and Sublight Drive is supplied by six Universal Dimensional Tap Reactors, which utilize hyperspace and micro-wormhole technology to “Tap” into the Aether Dimension while in the SARPiverse or into the Asune Dimension while in the Chrystalis Unvorsum. Unlike the reactors on most starships, the “Taps” are only open to charge the capacitor system which stores and distributes power or when the Jilae Dimensional Tap Drives (DTD) ⁵⁾ are operating to provide sublight thrust.

During normal operation the capacitor system is charged for standard ship-wide system consumption for up to 24 hours, which at 20% charge opens the Dimensional Tap Reactors for recharge. There is a secondary capacitor system which has 48 hours of reduced operational capacity during emergency situations.

During Jilae DTD sublight operation, Reactors 5 and 6 are utilized to produce sublight thrust generally used within the Hill Sphere of a star system. During “Silent Running” operations the Dimensional Tap System is shutdown to reduce the ship's profile on aetheric/dimensional scanners. In combat all the Dimensional Tap Reactors and the primary capacitor system are utilized to power offensive and defensive systems.

During Transuniversal Breach Drive operation, Reactor 3 is devoted to the TBD and the interior forcefield system of the ship. Following the emergence from TBD, the Dimensional Tap Reactors will purge any residual Dimensional Energy and will switch over to either Asune or Aether depending upon what universe they are in. This is actively controlled from either the Engineering station on the bridge or from Engineering.

The Transuniversal Breach Drive is the United Norian Imperium's equivalent to the Transuniversal Teleportation Drive. The Transuniversal Breach Drives however are not classified or considered “special/military”, as that the norians have been traveling to other universes in a greater volume for many decades. The Transuniversal Breach Drive System also deploys interior forcefields to ensure stability of all objects during the drive's operation. The United Norian Imperium honors their allies in the Yamatai Star Empire by not stating publicly that they are from another universe, or about the existence of Ayenee.

Daily during Dimensional Tap “OFF” mode, the reactor chamber of each reactor is cleaned to remove any debris that could disrupt proper operation. Weekly the Capacitor Assembly is purged of all stored power, and given diagnostics to ensure proper operation. Monthly the Secondary Capacitor is purged as well. Yearly capacitor coils and chamber wall shielding should be replaced or rebuilt according to ship's specifications. Every fifty years the entire Reactor System should be rebuilt.

Power transition systems to the ship's Leviathan and Mindhive are usually closely monitored or controlled by those entities as required.

The ship is equipped with an Integrated CFS Array equivalent to those utilized by the Star Army of Yamatai as well as a Hyperspace Drive.

The Tirion-Class represents a third generation of hybridized conventional and Leviathan build. Where the Leviathan/Leviathan Husk is grown into a conventionally built Niranium spaceframe and plated hulls. This allows for traditional starship designs and familiar interiors for crew to interact in. The Leviathans are still considered to be sentient citizens with their own rights even with this change to design ethos.

The biological “brains” of the Leviathan Mindhive pulls from generationally passed information and understanding of space, physics, and other topics. The connection between a Mindhive and its crew is done through Vesper facilitated by the Sthibon Symbiote. The computing power and speed of the Mindhive is further enhanced by L.U.M.E.N.

LUMEN (Luminous Unified Matrix for Encrypted Networking) is the conventional quantum computing system which further enhances Mindhive operation. So there is a biological and electronic component involved in this new generation of hybridized vessel construction. Lumen is equipped with Common Communications Technology and Sensor Systems.

Mindhives are capable of creating and existing in tandem with an avatar or artificial body form which is generally designed by the ship's commander. In the case of the Alyelume, however, the body form was designed by Tetsuya Eitan (Airwin Caeyara) in the likeness of “Ves”, a female manifested from his mental illness which he obsessively believed he could bring into reality from his dreams.⁶⁾⁷⁾.It is a mystery as to what knowledge or secrets were shared with Ves by her creator, one which may be unraveled by her crew over time. She manifests as a pale Norian-like form with pink hair and glossy black eyes.

Activated Self-Sustaining Infusion Environment (ASSIE)⁸⁾ is a system based upon the manipulation of biosynthetically engineered Leviathan Material. Rather than being grown into a Leviathan Husk, the cellular material, in a gel state, is held in through the circulatory system of the Leviathan. It is then fed by a nanomechanical stimulation device which deploys nanomachines into the material to stimulate self-replication. The gel is circulated through the insulation membrane of the ship to provide biological scrubbing to refresh the internal atmosphere, maintain a cool temperature, and remove carbon dioxide and other contaminants including urine and feces. Processed wastes are then circulated into the power system and vaporized with any carbon residues collected and jettisoned with the thrusters. The system can work without refresh for 6 months and then requires maintenance.

Maintenance involves cleansing the circulatory system the gel flows through with sterile saline which is then flushed into space.

The Tirion-Class Cruiser is equipped with 1500, standard five person escape pods spread out in the ship.
