Tenshi no Yoru 'Tenshi' Light Mechanized Power Armor

A Light Mechanized Power Armor developed by Motoyoshi Fleet Yards for the United Outer Colonies Peacekeeping Forces in YE 30. Designed specifically to replace the Ke-M2-2D "Mindy II" Power Armor that will be returned to the Star Army of Yamatai within the next year and to be more appealing to the Jiyuuian Peacekeeping mission profile outlined in the Peacekeeper Charter of YE 30.

Namesake Tenshi no Yoru translates to 'Angel of the Night'. Often called 'Tenshi' for short.

Type 1B Construct Assembly
FrameTitanium Boron Carbide Micro-frame
Inner ShellDurandium Alloy Tri-layer Mesh Shell
Outer PlatesDurandium Alloy Plate
Polymer InteriorThe inside of the power armor consists of a great deal of cushioning polymer which molds to fit the pilot's body. This serves the purpose to massively reduce the effect that kinetic impact has on the pilot.
Ablative Suspension Stage Held in forcefields just off the surface of the armor are small crystalline ablative “puzzle-like” pieces that are designed to break apart dissipating the energy of incoming attacks.

Power Systems

Power Armor Mini-Tsuyosa Edition: Two shielded antimatter-pods with propellant jettison systems located on the back of the power armor framing the generator on either side. With the help from another armor can replace pods during operational use.

Shield Systems

The Tenshi uses the following shielding systems:

Primary Shielding

Utilizes a combination of gravitational and electromagnetic shielding. Gravitational shielding provides protection from kinetic impacts, while electromagnetic shields defend against beam weaponry. The two shields and nested in a protective layer around the armor projected from two shield generators, one forward, one aft.

Shield Generators

Graviton Dispersal Strips

A maneuver, requiring the pilot to arrange the armor in a fetal-like position with head tucked down with both arms cradling the head and their knees drawn up to their chest, exposes graviton array emitter strips along the arms, lower legs and back of the armor which emit pulses of gravitons to push incoming objects away. The strips can also be used in normal positions to deflect incoming projectiles.

Electronics Systems

At the time the power armor was being produced Motoyoshi Fleet Yards was working on an electronics suite to use across the board for Peacekeeper forces, called MIKO. However the production of the armor was needed quickly, and MIKO had more development required before it could be utilized. In the meantime, the designers selected to use the products their parent company NovaCorp utilized in the NO-M1-1a - Mantus Infantry Power Armor as a placeholder, with the intentions of updating when MIKO was released.

Life Support

Life support, inspired by that of that used on the Ke-M3 Series "Kylie" Anti-Armor Power Armor, it includes the an oxygen supply, and a liquid nutrient supply. The power armor can support a pilot for up to 3 days before replenishment is needed. If needed, the power armor can filter outside air to replenish its supply (not usually done until absolutely necessary, though). Oxygen is both supplied for the both to breath (mostly for psychological reasons) and forced through the pilot's skin, much like the way a skydiver does not have to breathe while falling. The power armor's interior includes a catheter device that wriggles its way into the pilot's urethra and bladder, keeping the pilots from having to exit the suit to urinate.Blood flow is encouraged by occasional massaging by the polymer.
