Ha-neul uses the nickname 乻 (neul), which means “sky.”

Ha-neul is a gorgeous young woman of Korean ethnicity. She has long, wavy brown hair with bangs and brown eyes. Her personality is cute and flirty, and she makes a lot of expressive hand motions. Ha-neul is a dreamer and loves to explore and discover new or forgotten places and is into urban exploration and cave spelunking. She likes to cosplay as popular anime characters and collects 3D-printed sculptures of herself in cosplay. She's an expert with makeup and does makeup and fashion tutorials on YamaTube where she has 49,500 subscribers. Sometimes she sings and plays the piano in her videos. Ha-neul keeps herself in good physical condition by running and martial arts (She has a red belt in Taekkyeon) and doesn't mind breaking a sweat. She pushes away people who are negative or manipulative. She wears unusually fancy/sexy underwear. Her favorite foods are bulgogi (BBQ beef) bowls, cantaloupe, and zucchini.

Ha-neul was born as a Geshrin in Central Uesureya on Yamatai (Planet) in YE 20. As a child she was fascinated to watch the factories, trains, spaceships, and people at work in the bustling manufacturing city. She joined the Star Army in early YE 40 and completed her training the same year. During training she switched to a Minkan body after her old body was injured by a fellow trainee in a forklift accident involving an improperly secured sheet of Zesuaium armor plating. Her first non-training assignment was at the Central Fleet Depot where she worked as a dispatcher for Yamatai's network of military rail cars.

In YE 41, Ha-neul was promoted to the rank of Nitô Hei.

At the start of YE 42, Ahn Ha-neul and her girlfriend Nakeysha Smalls organized an item swap meet for excess salvage¹⁾ and also a buyback for excess weaponry²⁾. Some of the excess saddles form the swap meet were donated to a Star Army horse farm in Vela. Ha-Neul and Nakeysha also attended the Hanami festival in Kyoto that year³⁾. In 3月 YE 42, Ahn Ha-neul was promoted to Ittô Hei and Ha-Neul was selected to be the face of the Materiel Acquisitions Division by serving as its point-of-contact secretary. A year later, in 3月 YE 43, she was advanced to the rank of Jôtô Hei. She became an NCO in YE 44 after being promoted to Nitô Heisho.

In YE 44, Ha-neul was contacted by YTP Entertainment to become a model for them⁴⁾.

In YE 45.3, the Star Army Personnel Command promoted Ha-neul to Ittô Heisho.

Ha-neul met Nakeysha Smalls in the summer of YE 40 while working at the Central Depot and they quickly became friends. They like to work out together. Over the years, Ha-neul has developed romantic feelings for her as well. In the summer of YE 41, Ha-neul spoke openly to Nakeysha about her feelings and things got physical. After that, Nakeysha began calling Ha-neul her “barracks wife.”
