The NMX needed a way to allow its humanoid soldiers to move themselves and cargo throughout ships and stations. They took a note from their enemies' book and made simple Zero-G elevators with a motor attached to a series of pulleys with thick cords¹⁾. When damaged, the tops and bottom of the elevators may be forced open by breaking the four corresponding locks in the corners of both the floor and ceiling. This will allow movement to continue in the Zero-G shaft. The internal walls of the shaft have organic structures with small ridges that travelers may use to push off of with their hands to continue moving.
