Beryl turned 21 in YE 39 and joined the Star Army that same year. In YE 40, she was promoted to Nitô Hei.

In YE 42.3, she was promoted to Ittô Hei.

In YE 43.2 she was assigned to the YSS Resurgence. Later that year she piloted a shuttle on a covert mission to Hanako's World to rescue MIA/POW soldiers for PEARL and was promoted to Jôtô Hei for her efforts.

In YE 44.7, Beryl assisted during the Arrival of the Norians as the Resurgence crew evacuated hundreds of orphaned Norian children¹⁾. In YE 44.9 she was promoted to Itto Heisho.

In YE 45.1 Beryl piloted a shuttle for a mission to Ahmar.

In YE 45.4 Beryl helped fend off an attack of Mishhuvurthyar.

In YE 45.6 Beryl was promoted to Joto Heisho and piloted a shuttle carrying an away team to an mysterious derelict alien space station.
