Youko's Theme Youko's Combat Theme

Facial Features and Eye Color: Youko has large ocean-blue eyes and a round high-cheeked face that comes to a point for a sharp chin. She typically has a very serene, calm look to her. Almost sleepy, even. Her nose is small and pointed, and her ears are just as blonde as her hair.

Hair Color and Style: Youko has long blonde hair she lets run wild. She hasn't decided on any real style yet.

Build and Skin Color: Youko is a small, fit Neko with pale cream-colored skin.

Personality: Youko is very, very young. Her personality isn't set in stone, but there is a developing pattern to her behavior. Youko says very little, and nothing would make her more happy than to be alone during her tasks. Unfortunately, her occupation forces her to interact with others, and as a result Youko is typically short, blunt, and to the point in most of her dealings. She is also naive, and rather innocent. Stress had never really been a part of her life before. Anger is something that she doesn't handle very well, and barely-controlled rages are common when frustrated. Oddly enough, she has a small (but growing) opinion of her supremacy over other non-nekovalkyrja as a result of an Instructor's opinion during training; she rarely voices this.

Barely out of training, Youko has very little history to speak of. She was created by Ketsurui Zaibatsu, and went through the necessary training to become a Starship Operator. She is eagerly looking forward to her first assignment. However, it is good to note that while in training her instructor spoke of Nekovalkyra supremacy.

Youko is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions and receive transmissions through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. She is fluent in Nepleslian and Yamataian. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc..

Youko is familiar with the operation of standard SAoY starships through both her SPINE interface and the physical controls. She can plot courses, calculate intercepts and FTL movements, and understands how to read stellar cartography charts and maps. She can also fire weapons, and perform lock-on functions for these weapons.

Youko has been trained in the use of standard issue firearms, power armors, and is also practiced in basic hand-to-hand fighting. She can operate well in Zero-Gravity, provide covering fire, and respond to both direct and indirect fire.

Youko is capable of operating any equipment that has a computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

Youko is educated in basic math, including algebra and Trigonometry. She also has a working understanding of calculus and other higher maths as part of her occupation's training.

Youko has been informed, and continues to seek out, information on all SAoY starships. She thinks it is a very practical skill, seeing as her occupation revolves around the operation of these vessels. She has memorized the workings of the vast majority of such ships, including deck layouts, main ventilation systems, and their typical weapons and crew compliments.

For lack of better hobbies, Youko studies the grappling/wrestling martial arts. She has only a basic knowledge of the subject, but plans to master it over time. She can perform take-downs, submissions, and effective kicks.
