Michi Saito

Saito Michi is a player character played by Lucia Vera and is currently involved in the Fort Ready plot.

Build and Skin Color: Fairly thin muscle body well in shape and toned. Not overly tone just well exercised. Her skin is a soft pale cream color.

Facial Features and Eye Color: She has a narrow face, with a pointed chin, and almond shaped eyes, with high eyebrows. The eyes are light sky blue, fitting nicely with her skin.

Hair Color and Style: Dark black hair, cut into layers that go from four inches at her bangs to about shoulder length at the longest. She keeps her hair pulled back. Has a blonde streak in her hair.

Distinguishing Features: Blonde streak is clearly set against the rest of her hair. Her blond streak is on her right side of her head in front of her ear.

Personality: She is parsimonious, and holds grudges towards people who upset her badly. Otherwise she is a practical and wise about her job. She tends to be disciplined and ambitious, as well as having great patience towards others. She has a very dry sense of humor.

She is very open with her close friends, but it is hard for her to get to the point where she is open towards people. She hates expressing strong emotions to strangers as well as getting put into situations in which she has to express them. Most of the time she is a very talkative, as long as it has nothing to do with her.

Likes: Outdoors, Family, Being Warm, and Quiet time Dislikes: Loud noises, annoying people, people who talk more than her, and the sight of her own blood Goals: She wants to be able to help people when they are in need and at some point to be able to have a family of her own and to settle down.

Saito had a very, very boring childhood. She was from a average Geshrin family, in an average neighborhood, and all that fun stuff. She was born in the “peaceful” city of Tania on Yamatai. The only thing special in her life was her sister. They were very close all of their lives. Saito was very protective of her sister from the day she was born, and throughout her life. When they got older, they were always good friends, talking to each other about anything and everything.

They both did well in school, with Saito going out of her way to help her sister in classes as best she could, even after she went to college, where she studied biology. Shortly before leaving for college, her and her sister both went and got their hair changed, so that even when they were apart, they could feel like they were together at least in that.

After she left college, Saito studied a bit further in the medical field before joining the military, thinking that it was the best way for her to help others, even if it meant being separated from her sister. To that end, she opted for joining straight in, going to Fort Ready for training before heading out into the actual combat situations.She changed bodies because she wanted and knew she would join the military. She wanted to join the army because it helps her succeed in helping others in a time of need which is what she always wanted to do.

Saito is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. She is fluent in Nepleslian and (optionally)Yamataian. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.

Saito received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor.

Saito is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information

Saito received basic mathematics training, up to algebra and trigonometry.

Saito's specialty is in the medical field, mainly surgery before the military. She has spent time working in surgery, and knows her way around the tools required for the job, though she doesn't have much experience in the actual act. Once joining the military though, she focused on the field medic's position, wanting to be in a more immediate position to help people.

Her undergraduate was in biology, with a medical focus. So she understands the biology field outside of what she specifically needs for the medical field, though not to any extent which she can really use without further study.

Saito, though nothing special, is a decently capable cook. It comes from the summers at home where she would cook for her little sister, and her time at college where she didn't want to go out to eat. She can cook simple meals, and prepare food so long as it's nothing simple.
