The NMX have one hull-type, but it varies in size for each separate class of ship. Its purpose is to provide structural integrity for the ship in space, and keep it from explosively decompressing. It is made of an organic material mixed in with common metal alloys such as Steel and Titanium. Not much else is known about their construction.
