This is the standard uniform of the NMX's humanoid ground forces, designed for general use on habitable planets. It consists of a khaki single-breasted jacket with cloth-covered buttons and four pockets.

It is worn with matching khaki pants and boots (preferably khaki, but black and brown are used as well). The field uniform is often accompanied by a khaki or black pistol belt.

In late YE 32, a light and dark camouflage version became available. There is also a short-sleeved hot weather variant.

The original hat is all khaki.

The yellow band version fist appeared in YE 33 after camouflage uniforms became more common for tactical operations.
