The SMNA is a new agency responsible for everything military related, they are tightly controlled by the Neshaten Volunteer Military on what they can report due to the risks of sensitive information being leaked out. The agency is actually not part of the Kingdom, but instead of a private media group that works alongside the military to bring military related news to the citizens of the Kingdom.

SMNA works by having some of its own people in the military, as soldiers, who then report on what is going on. Some people are non-military, such as military correspondants, others are combat photographers.

SMNA is, however, a subsidary of NIN despite being a privately funded group.
