The DN 99 Killer is a large anti-fortification kinetic energy penetrator. It was invented in EE 001-v and put into service for use as large artillery cannons, assault cannons, and is also found used in anti-tank platforms.

The DN 99 was designed to be used against enemy fortifications, utilizing the kinetic energy penetrator concept so that it can punch through solid armor. The material used to create this type of ammunition is unique to its design as the Neshaten had to find a way to penetrate specialized armor plating, such as armor found on starships that was being used instead in base fortifications. DN-99 is considered unstable and must be handled with extreme care, which is why the manufacturer recommends a balanced, stabilized, auto-loader system.

The DN99 is made out of what is considered to be 'pure' untapped Lunebaren, and mixed in with titanium and uranium.

The shell is designed to cause damage on the moment of impact the untapped lunabaren will detonate, resulting in heavy damage if not complete destruction of the impacted target, the depleted uranium penetrator will continue on through anything that was initially destroyed and then detonate a few seconds later.
