The Mishhuvurthyar Hemosynthetic Virus (MHV) is a biological weapon used by the Mishhuvurthyar, it was discovered in YE 45.
In YE 45, in the early days of the Third Mishhuvurthyar War, the forces of the Star Army of Yamatai began to encounter new types and adaptations of the Mishhuvurthyar previously encountered. The Mishhuvurthyar being produced similarly to the Nekovalkyrja utilizing hemosynthetic technology, they began to experiment with weaponized body adaptations that could override a Nekovalkyrja's hemosynthetic system. After several trials, they created the Mishhuvurthyar Hemosynthetic Virus (MHV), which could be delivered into an enemy through a stinger located at the tip of the tentacles of the Mishhuvurthyar that have them.
The Parasite-Type Mishhuvurthyar was feared greatly during the First Mishhuvurthyar War, this new weapon has brought promise of an entirely new fear for them to impose upon their enemies.

The weapon most often appears in the Advanced-Type Mishhuvurthyar and other Mishhuvurthyar types that have the ability to deploy tentacle appendages. The modified tentacle includes a chitinous hollow hypodermic stinger. The stinger is hollow and is generally between 10 to 12 centimeters in length. At the base of the stinger, under the flesh of the tentacle, two muscle-wrapped gland-like sacs hold the Mishhuvurthyar Hemosynthetic Virus (MHV). When the stinger is embedded in the enemy, it releases the Mishhuvurthyar Hemosynthetic Virus (MHV) into its system.
The slurry released from the Mishhuvurthyar, has the same structure as the normal Nekovalkyrja genome and cells and carries its own infected femtomechanical units as well. The virus is then carried through the bloodstream to the rest of the body. When the virus encounters healthy cells, it inserts its genetic material, which is coded along with the femtomachines to rewrite the Nekovalkyrja genome. It begins to modify the Nekovalkyrja features to that of the Advanced-Type Mishhuvurthyar. The cell then produces more cells and releases more of the virus into the body. As the disease progresses the Nekovalkyrja begins to express more and more of the physical traits.
In the advanced stages, the viral femotomachinery begins to interact with the digital brain of the Nekovalkyrja and then rewrites the digital programming and instructions which finalizes the conversion into a Mishhuvurthyar.
The progression of the virus is as follows:
Day 2
As of YE 45.7 the Star Army of Yamatai has no vaccine, cure, or hemosynthetic correction to nullify the virus. Because of the stealth of the infected femtomachines, and their similarity to those already present in the Nekovalkyrja. On the battlefield medical personnel, can successfully stop the spread of the virus through immediate removal of the limb or part of the body that was punctured by the stinger. Otherwise, although gruesome, it is recommended the victim be terminated and brought back from a previous ST backup.
Shinichiro Tomoko at Ketsurui Zaibatsu began searching for a cure for the virus as soon as it was encountered and documented by the Star Army of Yamatai. The virus is very hard to detect by sensors or medically, because of its similarity to the hemosynthetics of its victims. It also has the same self-defense mechanisms as the NH-series, so the infected femtomachinery protects itself and can destroy itself if extracted. It makes collecting isolated samples nearly impossible.
Non-Nekovalkyrja species can be infected with MHV however, they only go through the physical changes as that they do not have a digital brain to be altered. It is unknown which species exactly are affected, further research may answer the questions.
