Motoyoshi and First Expeditionary Fleet Tsuki Blades were a limited production, unique weapon requested by Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko in YE 43 and just before her retirement from the Star Army of Yamatai. The weapon comes in two forms, a basic handheld weapon and a Power Blade Massive weapon designed for use with the Ke-M2 "Mindy" Series of Power Armor.

They are designed as a collectible item but can be used as a weapon if needed.

In early YE 43, the Battle Of Glimmergold left the YSS Tokyo severely damaged. Sections of the ship's Zesuaium hull were damaged and had to be removed during the repair process at Gemini Star Fortress. At the request of Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko, a limited amount of that material was set aside for the production of a unique weapon that she designed. The design would be made available in two different forms, each with two different themes; a basic handheld weapon and a Power Blade Massive weapon designed for use with the Ke-M2 "Mindy" Series of Power Armor. Both weapons would be available in the Motoyoshi Clan design and the First Expeditionary Fleet design.

The blades are available to personnel in the First Expeditionary Fleet and the Motoyoshi Clan.

Tsuki (月) means “Moon” in Yamataigo (邪馬台語).

The Dimensions of the Tsuki Blade.

• Handheld - 48 cm long curved blade, single-handed grip. The blade weighs 2.25kg.
• Power Armor Version - 76cm long curved blade, single-handed grip. The blade weighs 17.5kg.

Both the handheld and the power armor version of the weapon comes in either the First Expeditionary Fleet or the Motoyoshi Clan themes. They are moon-shaped blades, stylized with phoenix claw handles in reference to the logo of the First Expeditionary Fleet. The First Expeditionary Fleet design has a stylized phoenix scroll of red and gold and the Motoyoshi Clan has a stylized style similar to the clan's mon on the blade.

The basic handheld version of the blade is composed of folded steel in a traditional design, the handle is leather wrapped Toth bamboo with a trimmed tang design to ensure the proper weight and balance of the blade. This version has a decorative crystal beading that dangles from the handle. They come with a hardened leather sheath with a belt strap.

The Power Blade Massive version designed for usage with the Ke-M2 "Mindy" Series of Power Armor is composed of a fluted (hollow) Zesuaium blade with a monomolecular edge from the YSS Tokyo inset into a Yamataium wrapped handle. The blade has a Aether plasma capacitor system that is rechargeable ; so it is considered an Aether weapon. There is a switch on the handle which turns the blade on and off. The charge generally lasts about six hours of continued use. It comes with a Yamataium sheath.

The Motoyoshi Version is restricted to members of the Motoyoshi Clan and as gifts from Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko. The First Expeditionary Fleet version is limited to those who served in the re-established First Expeditionary Fleet between YE 41 and YE 43, priority distribution is given to those who served in the Battle Of Glimmergold. Although they are assigned a price, they are mostly given as a gift and are considered a collectors item.

The Power Armor Version is limited to Star Army of Yamatai use.
