In YE 45, the designers at Yugumo Fleetworks sought to improve the design of their Yugumo Standard Damage Control Alcoves. With that came the desire to condense toolkits and improve the efficiency of the tool selection in the lockers. One design that emerged was the Programmable Matter Multitool.

An efficient rechargeable multitool for maintenance and repairs.

The control handle includes a basic push-button control and selection buttons, along with the capacitor system. The capacitor system can be recharged at charging docks located inside Yugumo Standard Damage Control Alcoves. The handle also includes a small KAIMON-Aperature so that it can be connected to KAIMON for the programming new tools and configurations.

The handle is 15cm in length, and 6cm in width.

The programmable matter is a smart material that can change its shape, density, and properties on command. This material is highly responsive to external stimuli, such as electrical signals or user input from the control end of the tool, enabling it to morph into different forms and structures as needed.

The Programmable Matter Multitool is a lightweight (1kg) handheld tool.

These are the standard programs included in the multitool. Custom programs can be entered through the link with KAIMON.

The standard and advanced programs for the tool are as follows.
