International Relations Conference Of YE 46

The International Relations Conference of YE 46 is the eighth multinational diplomatic summit hosted by the Yamatai Star Empire. The goal of the conference is to improve relations between nations and to promote international cooperation. It was hosted at the international conference center in Reikan Embassy Park in the Kyoto Megacity on planet Yamatai.¹⁾

History

With the Third Mishhuvurthyar War having just commenced, the nations of the Kikyo Sector converge on planet Yamatai to discuss the most pressing issues that face their interstellar community. Topics slated to be discussed include the Third Mishhuvurthyar War, increased military cooperation between the Kikyo Sector's militaries, the establishment of an Interstellar Merchant Spacy, exploration agreements to govern out-of-sector colonization, and the status of certain constituent star systems and/or species within the Yamatai Star Empire.

Certain meals and snacks for the conference were catered by Takeda House.

Results

The following²⁾ treaties, agreements, and changes to the interstellar status quo were achieved during the conference:

Institution of the Duty To Warn Agreement.
The Hidden Sun Clan joins the Yamatai Star Empire as an independent territory.
A group of Delsaurians who had colonized planet Koenic petitioned to and subsequently joined the Yamatai Star Empire.
Nepleslia's Sky Marshal agreed to contribute more Nepleslian military forces toward fighting the Third Mishhuvurthyar War.
The Mining Guild sought to attain Aether technology and, while an agreement was not made at the conference, began negotiations to bring the company closer to the Yamatai Star Empire as to make that technological goal possible someday.
