Koenic

Koenic is a star system in the Kikyo Sector. It is located within the territory of the Yamatai Star Empire. It is a major population center of Delsaurians.

The Koenic System was once part of the Qel'noran Empire, which fell in YE 26.

In YE 29, Ketsurui Yui had the Star Army of Yamatai ambush an attack group here after YSS Miharu tricked the SMX forces by sending them false orders. The Fifth Expeditionary Fleet fought the Mishhuvurthyar in the Koenic System¹⁾.

In YE 30, Koenic was held and defended by the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia²⁾

Yamatai declared an end to the Qel'noran War in YE 36, although the Qel'noran were mostly gone by then.

During the Second Mishhuvurthyar War, Koenic was held by the NMX³⁾. In YE 34, the Fourth Fleet was ordered to take it back⁴⁾.

In YE 46.2, the YSS Resurgence visited Koenic⁵⁾.

One of the habitable planets in the Koenic system has a desert-like environment, and it supports a growing colony of Delsaurians. Further mapping of the system's planets and their ecologies is necessary.

The Koenic system is reachable only by spacecraft.
