In YE 45, when the Starshield Brand was created, the designers at Yugumo Fleetworks decided that it would be best to make a scalable high-energy capacitor system that could be applied across several of their products. At the same time, the company's successful Kaminari Quantum Foam Generators was down-scaled to accommodate portable models mainly aimed at designs that could be stored in the Yugumo Standard Damage Control Alcoves.

The Yugumo Corporation produces several versions of its high-energy capacitors as well as its portable quantum power generation systems.

The capacitors employ graphene electrodes due to their exceptional electrical conductivity(superconductors), high surface area, and thinness. These properties allow for rapid charge/discharge cycles and a high energy storage capacity. Between the graphene electrodes, a nanostructured dielectric material is utilized to enhance the energy storage capacity further. The dielectric material has a high permittivity, allowing for more charge storage per unit volume. Multiple layers of graphene and dielectric material are stacked to create a multi-layered capacitor structure

An KAIMON-Aperture Chip manages the charging and discharging cycles to optimize the performance, efficiency, and lifespan of the capacitor system. Real-time monitoring and diagnostics could be employed to ensure safe operation and to anticipate maintenance needs when used in conjunction with the KAIMON/Ascendant Companion.

The inherent flexibility and light weight of graphene could allow for innovative design solutions. The capacitor system could be designed to be flexible, portable, and easily integrated into various applications, from wearable electronics to electric vehicles and renewable energy systems. High-Frequency Operation:

The design is modular and scalable to meet different energy storage requirements. Additional units could be added or interconnected to increase the total energy storage capacity as needed.

Based on the designs of the corporation's already successful Kaminari Quantum Foam Generators. These portable power generators are relatively lightweight for their size but are significantly more bulky and heavy than the capacitors. These come in three primary sizes, one approximately the size of a shoe box, and two additional larger models which need to be moved on a cart or by KAIMON/Ascendant Carrier.

The Yugumo Corporation utilizes rechargeable high-energy capacitors and portable generators in many applications such as powering tools, weapons, and accessories. The Portable Generators are generally utilized in Yugumo Standard Damage Control Alcoves and on away missions.

Due to the scalability of both the High-Energy Capacitors and the Portable Power Generators, several sizes are standardly available. Custom units can be requested and prices negotiated. Bulk orders are also subject to negotiation to ensure discounts for those who purchase in bulk.
