- March 4: International Game Master Day
- March 5: Xenfocus Titan style (theme) purchased and added to our forum
- March 16: Push notifications added to Star Army Forums
- March 17: 10th OOC Anniversary of the United Outer Colonies breaking from the Yamatai Star Empire in 2008
- March 28: 1 year since Star Army moved from Xenforo 1.5 to Xenforo 2 for its forum software
April
- April 1: 10th OOC anniversary of the start of the Second Mishhuvurthyar War
- April 22: Star Army's Tumblr turns 10.
- April 23: Star Army deleted its Livejournal accounts

- May 1: The age requirement to join Star Army was raised to 18 or older due to various legal concerns
- Existing underage members will be allowed to stay and by May 1, 2021 all members will be 18+
- Any adult RP sections will still be hidden from view (to see them, an 18+ member must request access first)
- May 2: 400,000th post on the forum
- May 26: StarArmy.com domain's 15th anniversary of being registered by Wes (May 26, 2003)

Star Army used an alternate rainbow version of the Star Army Hinomaru for its logo on the forum for Pride Month to show support for the LBGTQ community.
- June 18: StarArmy.com transferred from Network Solutions to Cloudflare Registar

- August 14: 6 years with our current webhost, Dreamhost. We moved to them on this day in 2013.
- August 24: 14th OOC Anniversary of Nepleslian Independence in 2005
- August 29: 5 year anniversary since Star Army was awarded the Simming Prize in 2014
