The NMX Light Shipyard can produce two small starships at a time. It is used to replace lost escorts and to create invasion ships.

The following ships can be built at this class of shipyard:

• NMX Escort/Destroyer
• NMX Scout
• Smaller craft such as the NMX Landing Ship and the NMX Type 32 "Shredder" Gunboat

• 4 Anti-Starship Turrets (Tier 11, Medium Anti-Starship)
• 16 Anti-Armor/Fighter Turrets (Tier 9,Heavy Anti-Mecha

• Tier 15
