Ahrbeg

Ahrbeg is a star system in grid 1711 in the Kikyo Sector and is part of the Bard Cluster.

Ahrbeg was named by the forces of the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet when they explored it in YE 29 when the Mishhuvurthyar conquered the Bard Cluster. It was then under the control of the Mishhuvurthyar until their defeat in YE 30. During this time, the Mishhuvurthyar committed total genocide of a native humanoid species called the Sangriat.

After the Mishhuvurthyar were driven off the system was once again under the control of the Yamatai Star Empire . The system was under the control of the Fourth Fleet, and a colony was established primarily by former Yamatai Star Empire soldiers on the western coast of the primary landmass.

In YE 32 the colony was expanded by an influx of colonists from the outer planets of the Bard Cluster. The Fourth Fleet cannibalizing material and equipment from their damaged ships they created a fort on the planet and stationed soldiers on the planet. The Fourth Fleet assisted the planet's colonists to develop Militias, they equipped them with obsolete/surplus equipment.

The Yamatai Star Empire placed a global communications network of Emrys Satellites into orbit in YE 36.

In YE 36, a Bravemart opened in the planet's civilian starport.

Civilian cargo shipping is primarily provided by Trinary Star Shipping, which has storefronts in all of the planet's major cities. These opened in YE 38.

There are many sites visible from orbit where the Mishhuvurthyar were conducting massive logging operations, they are slowly being reclaimed by the environment.

In YE 33 the Fourth Fleet deployed 4SF Standard "Guriddo" System Deployment for the defense of Ahrbeg.

YE 34 With the fall of the UOC, the 4SF established a Frontier Starport, and a Frontier Fort to bolster its defense.
