Rikugun Regiment Task Group

The smallest subordinate unit to the 1st Expeditionary Army’s Rikugun Expeditionary Task Force structure capable of independent operations, a Rikugun Regiment Task Group (RTG) is an extremely high readiness task force comprised of a modified Rikugun Regiment transported by a Sigrún-class “Rikugun” Regimental Assault Carrier and supported by a pair of Chiaki-class (1B) Escort Destroyers and a Midori-Class Scout Ship.

Commanded by an exceptional Shosa, a RTG has its own organic support elements, as well as organic fleet transport and escort elements. This gives it the capability to deploy by itself and sustain itself for limited operations. This allows Rikugun regiments to forward deploy as tripwires and quick response forces across the Empire or beyond. They are subordinate to the Rikugun Brigade Task Group.
