Type 43 Yugumo Corporation Uniforms

The Yugumo Corporation's uniform design. It became available in YE 43.

In YE 43, it was requested that a standard uniform design be worked out for the Yugumo Corporation. The Yugumo Corporation developed Varihue, Omnihue, and Dataweave as well as had manufacturing rights to Self-Regenerating Fabric Coating (SRFC), so it made sense that these materials would be included in the uniform design. Kage Yaichiro, one the Yugumo Corporation's Fuku-Kaichō had designed the Star Army Bodysuit, Type 42 in YE 42, so his design and expertise were consulted in the design of the new uniform as well.

Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko weighed in on the design and asked that the Dataweave be used to its potential by integrating the features that would usually be included in a datapad. She also arranged the use of Kinugoshi-ko from Ketsurui Zaibatsu.

The uniform of the Yugumo Corporation incorporated the color design of the company's logo; purple, gold, and black. The design included a similar structure to the Star Army Bodysuit, Type 42; which included a layer of Dataweave sandwiched between two layers of Kinugoshi-ko. The innermost layer has an Self-Regenerating Fabric Coating (SRFC) coating for both fabric repair and wound patching, while still capable of wicking sweat. The middle Dataweave layer handles electronic functionality such as the built-in volumetric systems, and communications that interface with KAIMON. The outermost layer has a hydrophobic treatment applied over the top of Omnihue dye. This is used so every part of the outfit can change color as needed and can deploy MYPAT Dazzle Camouflage.

Integrated Electronics Systems:

• Micro-Capacitors - charge wirelessly when within 1,000m of a KAIMON system.
  • Offers two days of power when outside of the range.
• Dataweave Volumetric projection interaction - Tactile-response volumetric interaction from integrated communications and sensor components.
  • Tactile Interface Solid Volumetrics create virtual datapad. (Includes; word processing and other useful applications)
• Dataweave Integrated Quantum Entanglement Communications compatible with KAIMON communications suite. (5LY maximum range)
• Dataweave Integrated scanner system similar to KAIMON sensor systems. (Limit 1000m)
  • Enhanced Visual Scanners (Line of Sight, Up to 400X)
  • Electromagnetic Scanners
  • Biomonitor (Monitors and reports vital signs of the wearer)
  • Atmospheric Scanners

Base Uniform Components for both suit and dress form factors. The suit jacket may be worn over the dress (generally with the dress's sleeves detached) to form a skirt-suit.

• Alternative Footwear: Combat-style field boots are moderate cut synthetic black leather with Osmiridium buckles on adjustable straps that secure the boots.
• Gloves: Gloves are Kinugoshi-ko with a protective inner layer of Yarvex similar to the gloves found in the Star Army Science Kit, Type 31.
• Belt (Gold): A standard buckle belt with a holster for an Yugumo E2 Energy Pistol.
