Shugosha II is the second planet in the Shugosha System; it is part of the Yamatai Star Empire.
Like most worlds in the Yugumo Cluster, Shugosha II was discovered, explored and colonized by the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet in YE 29. Development on the planet was slowed during the planet's short time as part of the United Outer Colonies which focused on development in the Siren System. The planet returned to the control of the Yamatai Star Empire in YE 33. The planet is a rocky desolate terrestrial world with a thin unbreathable atmosphere. The four Yui Mining Colonies on the planet are all Katsuko-Class Colony Installation that have been tooled and purposed towards resource extraction.
In YE 42, Shugosha II was selected for further development by the Yugumo Corporation that intends to expand the current resource extraction industry on the planet. They added a PAINT station to the Yui I Mining Colony, as a first step to building this world up.

Shugosha II has a few interesting locations:
An extensive network of underground tunnels and caves exists on Shugosha II. They have never been explored, but some sensor scans indicate that some of the tunnels are not part of the natural formations and have been dug out in the last one thousand years.
A crashed Seiza-Class Cargo Hauler sits below a mountain ridge approximately one hundred kilometers from the Yui I Mining Colony. The Cargo Hauler was used as a hideout for Motoyoshi Kiyoko and her followers between YE 33 and YE 36. It was abandoned when the Star Army of Yamatai began to patrol the region more. It is unknown what the contents of the cargo ship are and it has not been explored as of YE 42.
The Star Army of Yamatai established a "Guriddo" Defense System as part of the Shugosha System Defense Plan laid out by Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko in YE 42. The system includes:
The planet also has an orbiting network of Emrys Satellites for communications that were deployed by the Star Army of Yamatai in YE 36.
